Since i know a LOT of people who either have babies or are about to have babies i figured i would be the helpful lady i am and share my top 5 baby items that i feel like every baby should have! My son is 2 months old now and this idea just popped into my head because i am so thankful to have some of these things because WE LOVE THEM!

1. A BUMMZIE PILLOW:

As most of you might not know my son was a total brat about sleeping at night, he had his days and nights COMPLETELY mixed up and absolutely HATED his bassinet, bassinets aren't for every baby and they certainly weren't for mine...it was his worst enemy. In my opinion bassinets are just a waste of money. Anyways so he just wouldn't sleep and so i kept posting and asking other moms what to do and  if they had any advice and luckily a lovely lady named Carly Mcgranor recommended this pillow to me, I was desperate and willing to try ANYTHING so i bought one for him, they sent me the wrong color so he has a pink one but it's okay ha ha. So i got it in the mail tried it the first night and he loves sleeping in it,  he sleeps in it all the time now, loves it! The reason i am recommending this instead of a boppy pillow is because the boppy doesn't have a base and the bummzie does. The boppy is something i didn't really trust, i would wake up and he would be all the way in the center like he would fall right through it so that was a no go for sleeping, i was way too scared he would suffocate or fall through it while i was sleeping. Although the boppy is not for sleeping it is an awesome item for them to just sit in and hangout. As of lately since we don't want the bassinet to go to complete waste and the bummzie is huge and i'm afraid it will fall off our bed, we put it right in his bassinet and he doesn't even know he's in it haha i'm tricky ;) Here is a photo of what it looks like

2. CAR SEAT COVER

I recently just got one of these because they were on sale at Walmart for 16$ they are 40 dollars at babies R us so i recommend Walmart! Since my son was born in the beginning of December unfortunately it has been -20 degrees outside almost every day here so i don't like to bring him out much but when i do i make sure he is extremely WRAPPED. Before i had purchased a car seat cover i used massive ammounts of HEAVY blankets and they would fall off sometimes and get in the way of the car seat base when i would put him in the car etc...This item is my top MUST HAVE!! You don't have to worry about blankets on top of blankets the cover goes over the carseat and you zip it up and snap it and he's WARM and safe from the cold! Simple as that :)

3.THIN BLANKETS

Instead of all of the HUGE blankets you receive at baby showers and the ones people make for your baby thin blankets are perfect. I am always worried that my son is going to overheat, especially in the car or during the night because our bedroom gets really warm and during the winter months we blast the heat in the car. I never wrap him in a thick blanket, i use the thick blankets so he can play on the floor on them ha ha. Thin blankets are the perfect amount of warmth and you will never have the worry that they are overheated! Couldn't find a good picture but like this one...ignore my goofy face

4.NETFLIX

Netflix is not only my BEST FRIEND but it's also great for babies and children of all ages! If your like me and want your kids to grow up watching the same cartoons and movies you did back in the 90's Netflix for kids has tons of old cartoons and movies! I would die without this because i would gag myself with a butter knife if i had to watch the cartoons that are offered to kids today...They are unbearable. I know that my son is too young to understand but i sometimes will just sit him in his toy chair and he will sit there and watch the tv like he knows what's going on.

5. Bath chair

My son LOVES bath time more than anything. I swear he just poops and spits up on himself just so he can get a bath sometimes haha. My mom has a bath tub at her house for him when he is there sometimes and he seems to not like it as much. The chair we got as a gift at the shower from Keri Badach (My boyfriends aunt) and i love it. It's safe and comfortable it is also adjustable so you can make him sit up more or lay him back which is my favorite thing about it!
